ILTEKNO has established providing healthy and sustainable working conditions for its most valuable resource—its people—as one of its core principles. Within this framework, the company follows best practices to promote and develop a culture of occupational health and safety, conducts initiatives to raise employee awareness on this issue, and aims to foster environmental awareness among all its stakeholders for a sustainable future.
In line with environmental sustainability, ILTEKNO has begun implementing the Zero Waste Project across all its offices and facilities, with the goal of conserving natural resources and minimizing waste generation. Monthly consumption is tracked to implement planned improvement initiatives, and awareness-raising training sessions are scheduled on a regular basis.
İLTEKNO closely follows not only the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and related legal regulations enacted by the Turkish Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Services, but also legal regulations applied in accordance with international standards. (For example: Guinea, Barbados) In line with this, the company is continuously enhancing workplace safety and operates with the goal of zero accidents.
At İLTEKNO, it is the primary responsibility of all employees to comply with occupational health and safety instructions and to report any workplace accidents, hazardous situations, and near-miss incidents. Employees have the right to refuse work in situations where they perceive a life-threatening risk.
Risks and opportunities related to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) are assessed at the monthly board of directors meeting. The monthly OSH Progress Report is submitted to senior management and reviewed.
At İLTEKNO, the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001) are implemented and have been certified by accredited organizations since 2015. In 2020, after completing the transition phases to ISO 45001, a stronger occupational safety management system was adopted, and management systems were consolidated under a single umbrella to begin implementing an Integrated Management System. All OSH and environmental aspects arising from business processes are analyzed, and actions are identified to minimize the impact on employees, employee health, and the environment, with business processes designed accordingly.

At İltekno, it is mandatory to report all incidents—including near-misses—and to investigate their causes. Senior management monitors all incidents and accidents that occur. Work-related accident and incident reports, compiled on a monthly and annual basis, are presented to all managers using a pyramid chart during the monthly senior management meeting. In addition, occupational safety performance metrics—including statistical data on accident frequency rates—are presented to management for evaluation on a monthly and annual basis.
