The MAN 51/60 and 51/60TS engines are designed to deliver exceptional performance and reliability for stationary power generation. They are optimized for high ambient temperatures and altitude, making them ideal for a wide range of applications. Additionally, the engines are capable of running on MDO, MGO, HFO and various biofuels, providing high versatility in fuel choice and making them future proof. Both series offer excellent fuel efficiency, ensuring cost effective operation. The engines can be easily converted to dual-fuel (DF) and gas operation, offering high flexibility. While they meet all emissions requirements alone or with additional technologies, exhaust gas after treatment technologies are also offered to make them even cleaner. Designed for extended maintenance intervals, they reduce downtime and operating costs.
The MAN 51/60 series consists of L type engines with 6 and 9 cylinders and V type engines with 12 and 18 cylinders.
The MAN 51/60TS series consists of 18 cylinder V type engines and is available in three different output options. All versions are two stage turbocharged.
